SL-29 TRIO LED In-ground lighting fixture receives IESNA "Progress Report" recognition.

New concept in multiple aimable LED landscape lighting increases output, flexibility, saves direct costs, installation and maintenance, at no sacrifice to extraordinary energy efficiency.

SL-29 Trio — three versatile, aimable LED optical systems contained in a single in-ground landscape luminaire, has been recognized by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) as one of a select group of products introduced in 2008 that have advanced the art and science of lighting. Judging was performed by an independent committee of lighting industry designers and other professionals unknown to Allscape. Typically many hundreds of new products are submitted each year, in categories, with relatively few products being included in the Progress Report.

SL-29 Trio represents the most innovative, cutting-edge technology yet introduced for in-ground lighting systems. With three independent LED (HID or linear fluorescent optional) optical systems in each unit that can be safely aimed even while hot, SL-29 Trio unleashes lighting-design creativity and high function, with impressive operating economy and long life.

Each SL-29 Trio unit provides high-performance, evenly distributed spot, flood or accent lighting for a broad range of corporate, institutional, municipal, even high-end residential, applications. Individual, rows, or groups of units, are well suited for architectural accenting. They illuminate building features such as columns and steps; landscape features such as trees, plantings, statuary, ponds and streams; parks, pedestrian areas, signage and the like.

ALLSCAPE continues to expand it’s popular energy-efficient in-ground fixture range with SL-29 Trio. Three lamp assemblies per fixture provide increased design and application versatility, as well as significantly greater output of white or colored light, where it is wanted, without spillover or light trespass.

SL-29 Trio is characterized by a rugged rectangular, architecturally unassuming housing design. A sealed shut but openable door uses a .75-inch-thick flat glass lens top-mounted access door is at ground level. An injection-molded silicone Y-gasket is compressed by a die-cast bronze lens frame and twelve captive stainless-steel screws. A dual lens option greatly reduces surface temperatures of each fixture, for pedestrian or pet walkover.

SL-29 Trio can be installed in landscape and poured concrete applications. Each of three parabolic reflectors rotates up to 360° and tilts up to 15°, for precise aiming. Four Titan 25W LEDs are available. Fixtures are dust-tight, water-jet proof, ADA pedestrian-walkover compliant. They meet a high IP67 standard, are ETL and CETL listed for wet-location use.

The SL-29 Trio lens ring is constructed from durable die-cast bronze for high corrosion resistance. Surfaces minimize debris build-up and facilitate easy hose-down cleaning. Housings are 100% compression-molded non-corroding genuine RhinoLite™ composite, not metal, warranted for 5 years. All hardware is stainless steel. LED, compact metal halide, or linear T5 H.O. fluorescent lighting systems, may be optimonal with color filters, an ADA lens, an external directional light shield, a stainless-steel lens frame, or internal glare shields.
